British Warrior Enhanced Armour IRAQ 2005

A comprehensive resin and etched brass conversion set by Derek Hansen for the 1/35th scale Academy Warrior MCV kits. During operations in IRAQ in 2005 the already well protected Warrior IFV underwent a significant armor update for urban and convoy operations. This set comprises four extensive etched brass frets and straight brass wire to form the turret and hull enhanced bar armor grids. We have also included some non-standard improvised items such as solid drivers plate armor, driver and turret crew protective wire cutters and turret sight protection mesh. Resin castings for the mounting plates and bolts and ties are also included. Some modification of the donor kit will be required and instructions for this are included. This extensive set transforms the Warrior into the IRAQ 'in-service' form around July 2005.
