German Elephant SPG Rear plate Italy 1944

Rear plate for the Tamiya kit. This version of the rear door of the heavy tanker Elephant Sd.Kfz.184 was designed to facilitate the dismantling of the barrel without having to remove the casemate from the tank. Only 4 copies of this version were made and used in the 653rd Heeres Panzerjager Abteilung schwere during the summer of 1944 in Italy.
